Spending time at the beach has been a very large part of my life.  I therefore transfer many of the images from the sea shore to my quilt art.  Working on and looking at these pieces helps to bring me back to the beach where I can feel the heat of the sun, lean into the force of the wind, smell the sea weed, and hear the cry of shore birds.
